Don Owens, General Superintendent at Neumann BrothersOver 30 years ago, Don chose to continue his family tradition of becoming a Neumann Laborer and has been with us ever since. He has climbed the ranks from Laborer to Labor Foreman, Project Superintendent, and most recently to General Superintendent.
Don’s natural leadership skills have made him an asset to every project team he’s part of. He is quick to share his knowledge and experience with fellow and upcoming Superintendents to help them find success within their own careers.
The variety of work and accomplishing new projects with new people is what Don enjoys most about his career. “Working at Neumann is not just another job,” he shares. “They are great people who treat you like family and genuinely care about you.”
Don’s dedication to his craft, his team, and the Standard of Excellence makes us proud to call him our newest General Superintendent! In his free time, Don enjoys spending time with his friends and family, especially on their boat in Saylorville lake.
Shad Owens, Project Superintendent
Shad Owens, Project Superintendent at Neumann BrothersShad also followed in his families footsteps and began his career with Neumann as a Laborer’s Apprentice on his 18th birthday. After gathering experience in the field, he chose to focus his talents and specialize in plumbing for the next five years. Afterwards, Shad returned to Neumann as Journeyman Laborer and has been with us ever since!
When faced with new challenges, Shad excels. He approaches every project as an opportunity to accomplish something new and is proud to deliver an exceptional product our clients are proud of. It is because of his work ethic and dedication to his craft we are proud to announce Shad’s recent promotion to Project Superintendent.
When asked what he enjoys most about his work, Shad shares, “I’ve been with Neumann so long, it’s like an extended family.” We are proud to have Shad continuing the Neumann legacy by leading our field crews and passing on the generational skills and knowledge that were once passed on to him.
Shad is a talented asset to our team, both on the job and off. He is known for his stellar BBQ skills and you can find him riding his Harley whenever he gets the chance!
